fGulfstream Motorhome Reviews

The founder of Gulfstream started Fairmont Homes in 1971 in an old sauerkraut factory. The concept of manufactured housing was intriguing and soon Fairmont Homes was fashioning a new luxurious design to homes that was considered innovative for the time. Later, Fairmont entered the RV market and the timing couldn't have been worse. The RV market was in a decline from high interest rates and suffering from the rest of the economy. However, the Gulfstream motorhome company pressed on and when RVs started getting hot again, the profits soared. Oddly enough, Gulf Stream motorhome company takes its name after a series of fishing trips the owner and a few dealers would take every so often to the Florida Keys. Gulf Stream is now one of the leading manufacturers of luxury RVs and affordable RVs in the world.

Luxury Models

The Friendship G8 series, as well as the Tourmaster are elaborately designed vehicles. They each boast walk in closets, master bathrooms and panoramic view windows. Interior heights are at seven foot and six inches. One great feature is the customizable paint job. You can choose Bronze Mist Full Body paint, Onyx Mist Full Body Paint or the standard model.

Class A And Class C Motor Homes

Not quite luxury models, but still very high quality and pricey, these models include the Crescendo series, gas or diesel, the Independence series and the Yellowstone series. Imagine taking a Yellowstone trailer to Yellowstone National Park. Now there's a vacation!

Affordable Units

Gulfstream also makes luxury towable trailers like the Canyon Trail and Emerald Bay and more affordable options like the Sedona and Mako. The Gulf Breeze is of particular interest, as it is a lightweight trailer, and yet packs in luxurious features. The Gulf Breeze can be towable as a regular hitch travel trailer or as a 5th wheel.
